Large scale PvP is so horribly laggy and the desync is so bad that it often simply is unplayable and the fights are just huge gangbangs where everyone uses his "super" ability once and hopes for actually hitting someone. I think a good example of this game is the following: Think of BDO as one of those bad chinese/korean flashy mobile p2w ARPGs, just for PC and with an even more exploitative cash shop than what I have EVER seen before. I'm aware I'm hating a lot on this game, but it is absolutely justified and I am in a position to do so as my review is based on having actually reached and played through the game and having seen the so called "endgame". All I can say is that I am nowhere exaggerating. Really tried to like BDO because I love the world, the combat mechanics, and the graphics, which is also why I kept playing for so long even though the downsides are just overwhelmingly predominant. I guess I was also kind of hoping for the game to eventually improve for the better, but that never happened, it even got a lot worse.
